Safeguarding is our duty of care to minimise the risk of harm to children regardless of their age, gender, religion or ethnicity.

We fully recognise the vital contribution it can make in protecting children from harm and support in promoting the welfare of all children at Ramridge. This is because we have a duty of care to pass on relevant information about any child deemed at possible risk of neglect, abuse or harm. The purpose of Ramridge Primary Schools Safeguarding Policy and Guidelines is to ensure that procedures are in place so that every child who attends our school is and feels safe and protected.

Our duty of care is to minimise the risk of harm to pupils in our school extends to their use of the internet.

We have created a comprehensive website which provides a range of information and guidance related to keeping your child safe whilst online.

If you have any concerns about the well being of any child please contact Ms Mulqueen, Mrs Dutta, Mrs Glenister or Mrs Dearden, all of whom are Designated Safeguarding Leads.

We believe that parents and carers have a valuable, positive and vital role to play in their child’s education and by working together we can achieve the best outcomes for your child’s future

At times, families may need some guidance and advice in supporting their children. Our Inclusion Team are available to provide this and offer support or can sign post help for families.
