Since September 2025, we have offered 60 full-time, 30 hour Nursery places for all children due to start Reception the following year (born between 1st September 2022 and 31st August 2023) free of charge. Our full-time sessions run from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with wraparound care available (additional costs apply). All sessions are led by a qualified teacher, ensuring high-quality early years education.
For children born after 1st September 2023, we continue to offer part-time Nursery sessions, starting from the child’s 3rd birthday. All children are eligible for 15 hours of free childcare after their third birthday. We also offer a number of 30-hour funded places for eligible families. Please see our page on support with childcare costs for further information if you think you may be eligible to claim this support.
Children who attend our Nursery are also able to access our wraparound Care Club. Our breakfast club opens at 7:45a.m. and the after school club closes at 6:00pm Monday to Thursday and 5:00p.m. on Friday and is run by school staff. Children attending Care Club are taken to and collected from their classrooms, ensuring good transition. Click here to visit our Care Club page.
If you would like more information about enrolling in our Nursery, visit our “Join our Nursery” page.
Children who attend our Nursery will still need to apply for a “Starting school at 5” place via the Luton Borough Council Parent Portal – click here to visit this page.
